«Επίθεση» των Anonymous στην Τράπεζα της Ελλάδος

Επίθεση, με τίτλο «Επιχείρηση Ίκαρος», εναντίον της Τράπεζας της Ελλάδος εξαπέλυσε χθες η ομάδα χάκερς Anonymoous, όπως ισχυρίζεται με βίντεο, το οποίο ανέβασε στο you tube. Οι Anonymous αναφέρουν ότι, κατάφεραν να «ρίξουν» τη σελίδα της ΤτΕ για περίπου έξι ώρες.

Ωστόσο, σύμφωνα με πηγές της κεντρικής τράπεζας η «επίθεση» κράτησε λίγα λεπτά, αντιμετωπίστηκε με απόλυτη επιτυχία και δεν υπήρξαν προβλήματα στα συστήματα της ΤτΕ ή πιθανές διαρροές στοιχείων.

Σύμφωνα με όσα ανακοίνωσαν οι χάκερς, προχώρησαν σε μια ισχυρή επίθεση άρνησης υπηρεσιών (DDoS attack).

Και τι σημαίνει αυτό; DDoS attacks ονομάζονται οι επιθέσεις εναντίον ενός υπολογιστή και των υπηρεσιών που παρέχουν και έχει ως στόχο να καταστήσει τον υπολογιστή ή την υπηρεσία ανίκανη να δεχτεί άλλες συνδέσεις και έτσι να μην μπορεί να εξυπηρετήσει άλλους πιθανούς πελάτες.

Οι Αnonymous ανέφεραν ότι η Τράπεζα της Ελλάδας είναι το πρώτο «θύμα» της επιχείρησής τους, που είχε ήδη ανακοινωθεί από τον περασμένο Μάρτιο. Ακόμη, ισχυρίζονται ότι θα ακολουθήσουν πιστωτικά ιδρύματα και τράπεζες από τη Βραζιλία, τις ΗΠΑ, τη Βρετανία, το Μπαγκλαντές, το Πακιστάν, το Ιράν και την Κίνα.

Στην ανακοίνωσή τους, οι Anonymous αναφέρουν: «Ο Όλυμπος θα πέσει. Τι λογικό ο Ίκαρος να βρει τον δρόμο της επιστροφής για την Ελλάδα. Χαιρετούμε τον κόσμο και το Παγκόσμιο Τραπεζικό Καρτέλ. Είμαστε ανώνυμοι… Ρίχνουμε εδώ και καιρό την ιστοσελίδα της ΤτΕ. Αυτή είναι η αρχή μιας επιχείρησης 30 ημερών κατά διάφορων κεντρικών τραπεζικών συστημάτων ανά τον κόσμο».
