Επιστολή Ντάισελμπλουμ σε Τσίπρα: Συζητάμε μετά το δημοψήφισμα

Απαντητική επιστολή στο αίτημα του Αλέξη Τσίπρα για επέκταση του τρέχοντος προγράμματος και νέα οικονομική βοήθεια προς τον ESM έστειλε μετά το τέλος του Eurogroup ο πρόεδρός του, Γερούν Ντάισελμπλουμ.

Στην επιστολή του ο Ολλανδός πολιτικός αναφέρει πως οι υπουργοί Οικονομικών επαναβεβαίωσαν στις 30 Ιουνίου την απόφαση του Eurogroup της 27ης Ιουνίου να μην εγκρίνει την επέκταση, εκτιμώντας «πως οι συνθήκες που οδήγησαν στην απόφαση αυτή παραμένουν αμετάβλητες».

Ο ίδιος υπενθυμίζει πως στις 20 Φεβρουαρίου οι ελληνικές Αρχές συμφώνησαν να τηρήσουν την δέσμευσή τους να τιμήσουν τις οικονομικές τους υποχρεώσεις προς όλους τους πιστωτές τους πλήρως και εγκαίρως. Ως προς το νέο πακέτο βοήθειας ο Γ. Ντάισελμπλουμ αναφέρει:

«Θα επανεξετάσουμε το αίτημα σας για οικονομική βοήθεια από τον ESM μόνο μετά και επί τη βάσει του αποτελέσματος του δημοψηφίσματος», καταλήγει η επιστολή με ημερομηνία 1η Ιουλίου.

Dear Prime Minister,

I received your letters of 30 June 2015, requesting again an extension of the current EFSF financial assistance arrangement as well as addressing a request – in my capacity as Chairperson of the Board of Governors of the ESM – for stability support from the ESM. Your letters were shared with Eurogroup Finance Ministers and we discussed them at extraordinary Eurogroup conference calls on 30 June and 1 July.

Firstly, as regards the further request to extend the current EFSF financial assistance arrangement, the Eurogroup reconfirmed on 30 June the decision of the 27 June Eurogroup not to support an extension, given that the considerations that led to that decision remained unchanged. The current EFSF financial assistance arrangement with Greece has expired on 30 June 2015, as well as all agreements related to the current Greek programme including the transfer by euro area Member States of SMP and ANFA equivalent profits. In view of your letter, we would like to recall that on February 20 the Greek authorities agreed to reiterate their unequivocal commitment to honour their financial obligations to all their creditors fully and timely.

Secondly, we will come back to your request for financial stability support from the ESM only after and on the basis of the outcome of the referendum.
